Member of the Bundestag Knut Abraham (CDU) visits B+F Beton- und Fertigteilgesellschaft mbH in Lauchhammer

On 16.11.2022 Knut Abraham (CDU), a Member of the Bundestag, visited the B+F Beton- und Fertigteilgesellschaft mbH Lauchhammer (BFL), a company of the General Atomics Eruope group and gained an insight into the production of high-quality precast concrete parts for a wide range of application areas and customers.

Almost 100 employees in Lauchhammer produce for example prefabricated reinforced concrete parts for vehicle scales, drive-through protection elements for object protection, prefabricated buildings, cable pull shafts as well as products according to the German Water Resources Act (WHG) and distribute them all over Europe.

BFL Managing Director Herrmann Stenzhorn referred to the positive development of the company, the high employee satisfaction and informed the parliamentarian about planned investments and growth plans at the Lauchhammer site.

Knut Abraham is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid. Until entering the Bundestag, Abraham worked in the diplomatic service, including at the Federal Foreign Office, the Federal Chancellery, the German Embassy in the USA and as an envoy at the German Embassy in Poland. Since 2021 Knut Abraham sits for the CDU in the German Bundestag and represents the electoral district Elbe-Elster -Oberspreewald-Lausitz II.
