5.000th prefabricated building
Prefabricated buildings have been part of BFL's product range for over 30 years and are constructed in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
In early 2024, B+F Beton- und Fertigteilgesellschaft Lauchhammer mbH manufactured its 5,000th prefabricated building, which was installed on a construction site in Dresden-Kaditz. These buildings are among the most important prefabricated components in the BFL product range. The company has manufactured and delivered them to customers for over 30 years, enabling them to reach this major milestone in 2024.
This particular prefabricated building consists of four floor slabs, four roof slabs of equal size as well as ten wall panels of varying dimensions. Four separate rooms were created with a total area of 54 m², connected by media passages. After assembling the precast concrete elements, they installed doors, gates, ventilation grilles, DASAG panels and aluminum parapet covers. Finally, the façade work was completed. The building serves as a gas pressure regulating station, converting high pressure from supply lines into low pressure.
